Maribel Carrero began her career as a hairstylist in 2003 by assisting celebrity hair stylist Ric Pipino. It was in his Manhattan salon Pipino that Maribel honed her talents and perfected her technique. She has gone on to work with several renowned hair stylists including Thomas Hintermeier, Greg Bitterman, Rolando Beauchamp, John Ruidant, Pasquale Ferrante, Lisa-Raquel, and Franco Gobbi to name a few.

Maribel has worked during New York fashion week for Nicole Miller, Erin Fetherston, Laura Dawson, Rosa Cha, Hugo Boss, Vera Wang, Reem Akra, John Bartlett, Phillip Lim, Patricia Fields, Manuel, TSE, and Valentino.
